We're Downing's, and we've been a premier bar and grill in Libertyville, IL, since 1991. We specialize in food, drinks, music, and fun! We offer burgers, sandwiches, pizza, darts, pool tables, and more. We're looking forward to partnering with Gurnee, Vernon Hills, and Lake Bluff counties to continue to offer a premier bar and grill experience. Welcome to Downing’s – Libertyville’s Favorite Bar & Grill Since 1991!
We're Downing’s, and since opening our doors in 1991, we’ve been proud to serve as Libertyville’s go-to spot for great food, cold drinks, lively music, and nonstop fun. We’re more than just your average bar and grill—we’re a neighborhood staple, a family-owned business built on good times and even better company. So, how did we get started? It all began with a simple idea—create a welcoming spot where locals could kick back, relax, and enjoy a great meal in great company. With years of restaurant experience and a passion for bringing people together, our family opened Downing’s in the heart of Libertyville.
